He’s going back to that Mall Santa kiosk in the sky, or something. This is House Resolution #779.

  • Bill says:

Hmmm, where have I witnessed article 5 about intentionally lying to Congress to obtain an authorization for war before? There are several other articles that fit Bush and Cheney too.

    • Up North Progressive says:

Agreed, 5 is about a decade too late.

1 is by definition impossible unless you change the definition of “war” (only Congress can declare war per the constitution)

2 wouldn’t save that citizen we bombed (“active hostilities” presumably include terrorism) but it might save his son unless evidence was fabricated showing that he wanted to shoot someone or something (it’s incredibly vague)

3 requires a definition of “chronic” (you can swap out torturers as long as they only do it once?)

I think 8 may actually be a swipe at Clinton?

10 is explicitly for Benghazi and the IRS scandals.

It’s an incredible piece of legislation and definitely something I would expect from a complete utter loon on his way out the door of Congress.

  • Greetings, friend! I love comments and read every one of them.
